The Casting Products division expands its product and process portfolio 

The division develops and supplies aluminium castings for the global market leader in the field of energy technology. The parts supplied by Casting Products are components manufactured using the aluminium chill casting process. The components are used in transformer stations.

Casting Products has also been breaking new ground on the procurement side for a number of years and has its products produced in cooperation with an Indian manufacturer, among others. Between 8,000 and 10,000 finished parts are delivered to our customers every year.

This is an unprecedented team effort, in which every single person at the Gummersbach site has played their part," says Domink Dross, Head of the Casting Products division, "We will continue to continuously analyse how we can expand our portfolio. In doing so, we will not neglect our core expertise - investment casting. It is too deeply rooted in our DNA. Sensible additions are also still planned so that we can continue to offer customised CP solutions for our customers' needs in the future."
